We found a nice active unmarked queen on one of the Langstroth frames.
There were a lot of brood frames (could be used for splitting the hive?) and a good supply of pollen.
We removed 30 Farrar frames filled with honey and capped.
Transfered the L frames (9) and one farrar into L box at bottom of the hive.
Farrar box on top on L box
Removed 7 honey cakes on farrar frames
Isolated queen in 2x farrar box contained 9 L-frames
Removed 1 L-frame of honey.
We should replace the two farrar boxes with a langstroth box before wintering the hive.
It is possible that by removing all the wild growth we have weakened the hive as we also removed some larvae...
Removed a large amount of DIY wild growth from under the langstroth frames.
