Drove up for the day from Espoo just to pick some veg, water the polytunnel and check on the sheep. They were huddled in a woolly pile behind their shed as it was quite breezy and they don't seem to like the wind too much - even though it is a nice warm wind. In fact it's a beautiful day and the farmers are harvesting. Going at it like mad. Lots of dust in the air.
They followed me over to the apple trees and I picked them a few apples as they had scoffed all the windfalls. The neighbour came over. Apparently one of the girls had got out and wandered into his sauna (while he was in it) the day before. Eeek! I strolled around the field checking on the fence and of course they all followed me +2 dogs. Quite a crowd. Then they wandered down to the reeds by the lake. That is where we have the water pump. And one of them (I think it was 126...) got twisted up in the electric cable, ripping the plug out of the pump and winding the cable round her neck and then around my legs, knocking me flat on my back. Dogs barking. Sheep baaa-ing. Not sure if the neighbour was watching but it must have looked like Shaun the Sheep **LIVE**.
