I've been here on my own for a couple of days, weeding, planting, watering and doing stuff on the computer. I have Zelda and Elisa for company. But it's been hell trying to work outdoors. As soon as Elisa sees me she starts bleeting like a lost lamb and so I am constantly hopping over the fence to give her carrots, bread, oats etc when all she really wants is a chat and a cuddle. Of course the food and the cuddles make Zelda wildly jealous so I then have to take her down for a swim in the lake to cool off. Needless to say, I'm not getting much work done. I guess she is really lonely, it's a big field when there is only one sheep in it. But only another week to go and she'll have plenty of company.

Elisa is coming home today, I have to work so won't be there to greet her. She'll be lonely for a few days until all the lambs arrive.
She's had a short back and sides. The estimated time of arrival of our new flock is the 6th June. We are hiring a trailer and driving up to Ostrobothnia on the Friday - busy weekend in store. Can't wait!
